Designed to promote New Balance’s sponsorship of the Head of The Charles Rowing Regatta, the promotional box was specially engineered to hold a hard-bound 50th anniversary HOCR book, a New Balance HOCR jacket, sun glasses, croakies, a water bottle, and a pair of HOCR branded 990 shoes, ranging up to men’s size 14.
The box was designed to ship flat, and assembled during the event to hand out promotional items to athletes. As a former collegiate rower, I engineered a box to contain the product, and to be an instantaneous perspective that every crew member is very familiar with: shoes, at an incline, in a foot stretcher.
The HOCR box was re-designed and specially outfitted to announce to sport New Balance’s sponsorship of the USRowing Olympic team. A pair of US Rowing branded Minimus 20v5 Trainers, sat atop a metallic gold foot-stretcher tray.
