The final project for my imaging for new media class was to create a book using images that we took on our DSLR cameras. All of the images in this book were taken with a Canon Rebel XS in May 2012 in Rochester,
NY. The inspiration for this book came from the gorgeous weather that the students of RIT have recieved these last few weeks of the Spring Quarter. Since it has been so nice out I have seen more people hanging out in the grass than I have ever seen before at RIT. Also in my
Imaging for New Media class I discovered that I love taking photos of food. So, I decided to create my own summer picnic just in case the weather decides to turn to gray. I made the decision to use wide format printing so that my picnic blanket could be a somewhat realistic size when it is completely folded out. I used an Epson 9800 printer and Epson
Enhansed Matte paper. This is the layout of the book before it was cut and folded into a book.
